Pownce is now open to the public!

I just received a mail that Pownce is now open, unlike the invitation gmail did back then (…wait are they still doing that? XD). I was thinking how did I get this message when I remembered I asked somebody to invite me since I liked the layout. When I got in, I realized I have so many social networking accounts at that time that well, I gradually forgotten about this site…

… Anyhoo.

Pownce options are very minimal as it has only 4 tools: Message, Link, File and Event, that seemed a-ok for people with less worries and just need to give their friends a quick update about them. I’m a little worried if they made the file transfer bigger than the invitation days wherein I was a little screwed with the 10mb only file transfer back then har. Also, I have to admit I had this feeling of twitter-ness when I was fooling around the site but with much more boost to the microblogging madness — with a very simple app (you need Adobe AIR for that though XD)
